What Concord Can Teach San Francisco About Banning Plastic Water Bottles

The water crisis in Flint, Michigan has raised questions about the state of our nation's water supply, but scientists and officials tell us that most of our piping systems provide safe drinking water. Even so, Americans still consume more bottled water than any other country in the world. We buy at least an estimated half a billion plastic bottles of water every week and many of them end up in landfills.
