The BADFive Free program celebrates restaurants that refuse single- use plastic waste to protect our coasts, oceans, and marine life. BFF recognition provides individual patrons with sustainable and eco-friendly options. Millions around the world are reducing their individual waste footprint, and this program tackles the problem on a larger scale. We believe that by recruiting local restaurants into our BFF program, we can create an eco-friendly culture while growing the area’s economy.
Our aim is to support our local restaurants and to help them make this move, one step at a time. We recognize that it may be harder for some, but that the goal to be BADFive Free is attainable and Rethinking Plastic is here to help. No plastic-shaming involved. We are in this together!
